Mina Perhonen - Happy Bloom Coat

The Happy Bloom coat by Mina Perhonen is crafted from an incredibly intricate fabric made of velvet, woven with a long-fiber cotton yarn and embroidered all over with dense, overlapping flower petals. As noted by the label, “the butterfly-like shape of the flower's center, the expression of the petals as if sun is reflecting off dew, and the three-dimensional way the thread is handled all combine to create a profound design that combines design and craftsmanship.” The coat features a relaxed cut, with a deep collar and patch pockets at the front. This piece is entirely padded making it perfect for colder weather, with a rich, vintage-inspired texture from the outer fabric that creates a beautifully voluminous silhouette.
